For high-risk AI providers and deployers outside the EU
A natural or legal person in the EU appointed by a non-EU provider to act on their behalf: keeps technical documentation and the EU declaration, cooperates with authorities including the AI Office, handles incidents and ensures corrective actions. Required for non-EU providers placing AI systems or general-purpose AI models on the EU market, whether directly, integrated or remote.
Who needs it? Non-EU providers. EU importers, distributors and deployers do not appoint one themselves, but must ensure their non-EU provider does.

A monthly or annual subscription with document refreshes, monitoring, release notes and jurisdiction add-ons. The AI Act is already in force, but Member States must still appoint national authorities, adopt penalty laws and open sandboxes on their own timelines.
